Design Cypher was born at the beach. Growing up in a small coastal town, the ocean was a constant source of inspiration. So when Surf City approached us to design graphics for their new line of hats and t-shirts, we jumped at the opportunity.

Drawing from the surf brands that shaped our youth, we created bold, one-color designs that captured the shop’s laid-back, saltwater-fueled spirit. With supply chain challenges during COVID, simplicity was key, and these prints helped sustain the stoke.

Beyond apparel, we collaborated on Surf City’s new website, providing lifestyle photography and product imagery to show off their gear and connect with their community.
